Stuck In The Past

Never let yesterday use up too much of today." ~ Unknown

A while back, I went to dinner with my daughter, Mindy.  We always have great fun. We laugh a lot when we’re together.

We talked about many things. Somehow, we got started talking about "Ida". You know Ida, don’t you?  What if "Ida" done this, or “Ida” done that. Well, we shortly realized how foolish that was and ditched “Ida”.

There are many people who are stuck in the past. That is sad. The past can’t be changed; but it can be wiped clean by the blood of Jesus.

When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, God justifies us.  He makes it--just as if we had never sinned. God makes us righteous because of what Jesus did when He died on the cross.

If you have been entertaining "Ida" as a house guest; rescind your invitation, and tell her to leave--forever.

If you don’t know Jesus, just ask him to come into your heart and make you a new person in Him. He is just waiting for you to ask.

Today, start a new life of purpose with a plan for your tomorrows. God has a great future ahead for you.

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Have a great day; and remember who and Whose you are.
