The Tenacity of a Weed

Lately I have had some challenges confront me. I was almost ready to give up on one particular project. I thought about quitting, but I didn’t give in to the temptation to take the ‘easy way out’.

The thing about the ‘easy way out’, is that it usually ends up being the most complicated way imaginable, as well as, the wrong way. It often turns out to be the hardest way. Unfortunately, I have experience in this area.

I’d like to save you from some difficulties and recommend that you try relying on our Heavenly Father for help and direction. That’s what I have decided to do. 

In myself, I have nothing of any value that I can do for the Lord. What I can do that pleases Him, is to first draw strength from Him, then “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  Philippians 4:13 KJV

Let Jesus be your strength today. He will give you the “determination and tenacity of a weed”. Because He has already done everything that needs to be done to make us victors, we can live and walk in His victory; and He will be with you through it all.
