“Don’t talk to others about your
problem, speak to the problem about your God!” – Carl Gustaf Severin
When we have a problem or a need,
the first order of business, is to boldly take it to the Father in Jesus
name. You see, Jesus already over-paid
the price and purchased our salvation, our complete redemption and all that
redemption entails, on the cross over 2000 years ago. It is already a “done deal”. Everything has
already been taken care of—forever!
The second thing is to tell your
problem that Jesus has already done it! Don’t let the devil lie to you and make you think that God won’t take
care of you when He has already taken care of it all.
Too many Christians take the
“Jerry Springer” approach to problem solving.
They want to talk it over; hash it over; fight about it a little bit,
and then get audience reaction to it.
That my friends, is wallowing! It
is an insult to God, and it makes us look foolish.
Some of life’s problems may
require counseling to help you get past them; but a good Christian counselor
will point you to Christ and help you seek Him for the answer to the
problem. If he/she doesn’t do that, then
he/she is not a good Christian counselor. Find one!
Unresolved situations and
problems in our lives do not reflect the power and majesty of Jesus
Christ. I want to reflect the power and
glory of Jesus. I want to be an overcomer, a victorious witness to show forth
the glory of God in my life. I want the
world to see what placing faith in Jesus can do. Don’t you?
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the
world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” – 1
John 5:4 KJV
Have a great day; and remember who and Whose you are.
