In Times Of Trouble

Nothing makes me pray like trouble! I know that I am not alone in being moved by trouble.  Calling on God in times of trouble is exactly the thing He wants us to do.

"Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me,"  Psalm 50: 15 NIV

King David was quick to call upon the Lord when he was in trouble. The Psalms, most of which King David wrote, are either prayers to God about being in trouble; or they are praises to God for deliverance from trouble. God is all about delivering His people out of trouble.

So when you find yourself having troubles, call on God to help you. When He delivers you out of that trouble; and He will, raise your voice to Him again in praise and thanksgiving for His deliverance.

My life is proof that God will deliver a person out of trouble. I have had my fair share of trouble; and most of it was of my own making; but that fact does not phase God. He still delivered me even when I was not innocent; because He is a loving, merciful and gracious God. 

"Got troubles? See what my God will do for you. I hope you will make Him your God, too.

"The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles." Psalm 34:17 KJV
