"Gratitude is the single most attractive accessory you can own." ~unknown
There is not enough time to list all
the many things in my life for which I am grateful .
I do want to take the time to
express my thanks for Godly parents who introduced me to Jesus at an early age.
They never ceased to set the example for me. They have always given me Godly
advice even when their hearts ached to do otherwise. I did not always take that
advice. I did "my own thing" for several years. By God's faithful
promise and the ceaseless prayers of my parents, I changed my mind and returned to my senses and my Lord.
If you are a parent whose child has
wandered from God, just remember that God's Word is true and he does watch over
it to perform it. Never give up! Keep praying and keep knowing that God will do
what he said he will do. Keep believing, always, keep believing.
If you are not a parent but plan to be one someday, note that the Word says to "bring up a child in the way he should go". You cannot return to somewhere you have never been.
"Train up a child in the way he
should go and, when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
KJV
Thank you, Father, for your
faithfulness and that you have magnified your Word above your name.
Have a great day; and remember who and Whose you are.
