The Storm

It seems the theme of these blogs lately has been adversity. I cannot count on all my fingers and toes the people of my acquaintance who are in deep distress. They are Christian people who are living in the pressure cooker of spiritual warfare.  
Jesus has already won. He accomplished everything at his death and ressurection. He has sent the Comforter. Now we just need to establish his throne in our own hearts and lives. Let's get out our handbook and read it! The more we learn of just what He did for us, the more we will walk in victory and reign in life. We already have the victory.

I need to hear it over and over and so do you. As Christ is, so are we in this world. Is He sick, depressed, poor, and defeated? Not my Lord. He's the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. There is no name above His name. At the sound of His name all heaven falls to worship, all hell trembles, and the glory of God surrounds us night and day.

Now is not the time to give up!  Fight the good fight of faith. Call upon the Lord!  He is our salvation.  He is our help.  He is our strength. He has already defeated
Satan. We must speak it it out before the rocks shout his praises!

The winds will blow, and the rain will fall.  The house that is built on that sure foundation will forever stand.

By the way, this was more for me than anyone else!
