"LOOKING AT GRACE" is intended to be a little note of Hope for any one who needs it; and we all need Hope. It is my sincere desire to introduce readers to the Grace of God, which is embodied in the finished work of Jesus Christ. May the knowledge of Him pervade your life.

My Own Strength
"I'm only one person, I can only do so much." ~ a common lament
Do you get overwhelmed with all you have to do? Do you feel like
you need to be cloned just to get the minimum accomplished?
I know I rush around all week. I’m in a hurry to get here or there; then, rush around to do chores. I rush to get dinner on the table on time. I am always rushing; yet, it seems I never accomplish much of anything. My strength is sapped by the time the day is done.
Then, I realize I have been running on my own strength. I've been so busy that I forgot to roll my burdens off onto the Lord. It seems that I can do nothing because I am trying to do everything alone.
It doesn't have to be rocket-science or brain-surgery-like undertakings to rely on the Lord's strength. As a matter of fact, He wants us to seek His help in all things. After all, it is all those little mundane things that fill our lives and crowd Him out.
Take some time to start the day with Him and see if it doesn't go a lot smoother.
Life's greatest accomplishment is to know Him.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 KJV
Have a great day; and remember who and Whose you are.
