God Helps His People

Many people in this world live in constant fear of what may happen in the future. They are afraid of terrorist attacks. They are afraid of severe weather out breaks. They are afraid of what the government will do, or not do. They are just plain afraid!

   

Many of the things that are going to happen in the last days are clearly outlined in the Bible. Nowhere in God's Word, is there a day without hope and provision for his people. No matter what happens, God will take care of his children.     

I cannot recall a single time that God has ever failed to help me. Many times, he has helped me when I did not even ask. That is because he is God. God is a good God, and God helps his people.     

Is it foolish to prepare for a hurricane? Is it foolish to have homeowner's insurance? Is it foolish to keep first aid kits and fire extinguishers handy? Of course it is not; but it is foolish to be motivated by fear and not faith in God..

"Be not afraid” and "fear not" are not just bullet points that Jesus preached.They aren't "stabs in the dark" to find a way that works. They are guide lines on how to live a faith filled life.

   

"Therefore, be not anxious saying, what shall we eat? or what shall we drink? or with what shall we be clothed?...but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you."   Matthew 6:31,33 KJV
