What we mean is, "keep coming back". Prolonged exposure to the ideas and ideal presented in an AA or NA group will eventually drive you in or drive you out. Very often, watching the lives of those changed by adhering to the program and working the steps will cause one to desire that same result in his life.
The same is true of joining oneself to a body of believers in at a local church. The more you are exposed to the life changing Word of God the more you will want in or want out. The gospel affects people in two ways: it will either make them glad or mad.
Aligning yourself with a group of people who have been changed by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ will cause a hunger for the same in your life. The more you go to church; the more you are around those people; the more you will change and grow. We learn by example.
If the gospel has made you glad, go to a Bible believing church and align yourself with those believers. Learn more of Christ by their examples. Keep going-don't leave before the change occurs in your life.
"Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and "seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." Philippians 4:9
