The Holy Spirit Is God

Before I was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues, which the Word says is the initial evidence of the in-filling of the Holy Spirit, I was afraid I would turn into a real 'holy roller'.  Now that I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I am no longer afraid of such a thing happening to me.  I am a 'holy roller" and I like it!
  
That should tell you two things about the baptism in the Holy Spirit. One, it gave me a boldness that I did not have with out it. Two, it became more important what God thinks of my conduct than what other people think.   

Most importantly, being filled with the Holy Spirit has given me an intimate relationship with God; for the Holy Spirit is God. My life has been transformed just as surely as if I stepped into that "phone booth". I went into the "phone booth" with an acquaintanceship with God and came out with an intimate relationship with Him. There is power in knowing-really knowing-God!    

That is transformation! I am not the same person. I don't ever want to be the same again.   

If you aren't sure about this in-filling of the Holy Spirit, remember it is the last assignment (commandment) that Jesus gave his disciples before He left this Earth. Don't close your mind to it. Read the Word for your self and see what it says.    

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.  And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.  Acts 1:8-9 KJV

On the Day of Pentecost they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they all spoke in tongues as the Spirit gave utterance. It happens the same way today, tongues and all. Don't let the devil rob you of the greatest weapon of spiritual warfare that God has put in our arsenal. Be fully equipped! "Be endued with power from on high".
