"This is only a test." ~ The Emergency Broadcasting System
We all recognize that statement from television. Its purpose is to test the trustworthiness of the emergency warning system.
The best way to determine the knowledge and skill of students is to test them on the subject matter. With God, no one ever goes on to the next level without first passing the test.
I don't know about you, but I do not like taking tests. Due to the stress and pressure associated with test taking, I freeze up, get nervous, and sometimes give the wrong answers even though I know the material.
Recently, I thought I knew the answers to a test I was 'taking'. God is always gracious! He gave me a quick lesson from His Word in the middle of the test to make sure that I remembered the answer. I did and responded accordingly. It all worked out well for me. It wasn’t easy, but it all worked out well.
In the middle of the tests and trials of life, God guides and leads us. He is on our side; and He never leaves or forsakes us. If we will just yield to His will and His way of doing things, He will make sure that we pass the test and move on to the next level.
He has made us victors through Christ Jesus. The instant you accept Jesus as your Savior, you are born again and the new person inside you is more than a conqueror. You can have victory over every challenging situation in your life; just place your trust in Jesus, the one who is always trustworthy.
