"LOOKING AT GRACE" is intended to be a little note of Hope for any one who needs it; and we all need Hope. It is my sincere desire to introduce readers to the Grace of God, which is embodied in the finished work of Jesus Christ. May the knowledge of Him pervade your life.

How Is Your Outlook?
"If life looks a little cloudy, maybe your windows need washing." - unknown
How is your outlook? How do you view the homeless guy on the sidewalk? Is he some derelict to be avoided; or is he a lost soul in need of Christ?
What about the drunk down the street? Is he the last person you'd care to associate with; or does he need to be liberated from the demon of alcoholism by the power of the blood of Jesus?
What about the church busybody? Is she someone to be shunned; or is she a sister in need of fellowship and forgiveness?
The scribes and Pharisees, the church hierarchy, of His day constantly criticized Jesus. He had the audacity to associate with sinners, tax collectors, prostitutes, and the outcasts of society. Jesus healed the socially unclean, the maimed, the blind, the infirm; and He delivered those who were demonized.
Jesus didn’t heal just the well dressed, the intellectuals, or even just the church members. He healed all that came to him, and many who were not able to get to Him. Then he sent his Word and healed them.
The Apostle Peter preached, “That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:37-38 KJV
If you need an "outlook" adjustment, as I often do. Try an "inward look".
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.” Psalm 51:10-13 KJV
Have a great day; and remember who and Whose you are.
